Rules, loading screens

I've got inspired by Team Fortress 2, and just a second ago, something came up.
I noticed a lot of your guests and members, not exactly knowing the rules. Also, some servers have different rules. It's also very hard to direct guests to the forum and let them read the whole rulebook.

Now, in TF2, if you connect to a server, you get a small briefing with each map. A lot of servers use a spot in this briefing (I'll show you a screenshot later) to post there their most important rules, name of admins etc.

How does this fit into ET?
Every time we connect/change map on your servers, we get a loading screen, in HoW for example, we have that weird guy with a flag and a gun in the rain (I believe). My idea is, to make for each server a special loading screen, like now. But, then we put a few lines with text on it, with the most important rules like: No aimbotting/wallhacks or other cheats, Spawnkilling isn't allowed (except for few servers, that's why it's serverbound), don't stand on the rooftops of buildings, respect other players and so on. Those examples, which are creating every day problems at GDC servers. There can be put a lot of more information on the loading screen, than only on the small box right in the corner.

True, but it's better than nothing, isn't it?
Or.. if possible, we could make it that way we can click it through? so that you have that screen, and if you're loaded, you can click in the right corner: play. Perhaps if that's possible?

or like the gdc menu in the menu list when you press esc. we can put there a new case with rules site admins and so on. its looks nice and before someone wanna disconnect he can read it

@turkish some people need to come fast of there comp before there moms get angry (like me) so they dont have any time to read. and its after you quit ET so you dont see them on the server only after it and only the peeps who like the server come back.

Here, I found them at TBR clan, they have a really nice server. I have also made a picture of the other subsections they made, they're at my xfire profile (etrubber), but I don't think that's necessary.



As for Sirlagalot, it will only take a few seconds to read, perhaps adding some rule here and there, but the main you already have here on that screenshot. It'll take a short time to read, especially when you see it every time you load a new map. I always have plenty of time to watch the picture there, and I even connect faster than lots of other people.

A quick example how it should look like in my opinion, please post suggestions:

A quick, simple background, nothing major, people should read the lines, not the background.

Name of server,
No aimbots/wallhacks or other cheats
No farming or spawnkilling (spawnkilling optional for several servers)
No swearing or abusive behaviour
Do not use glitches or exploits
No spamming in the chat
No recruiting from other clans

By breaking these rules you will be kicked or banned from the server.

Just most important rules and its alright,they know how to act and so on

Dont forget about rubber we made it together, and it was original his idea. We can make it for every server in the colours coresponding to the server.

Nah Rooky, you did the most here.

When you're done I'll go post in some bases a little guide explaning what everything means, which catagory something falls in, and a suggested punsihment for that. If nobody has any trouble with that, does anyone?
