How make your ET more better to play. Also help topic.

So here is some good tips what might help your playing.


To crosshair. You can always make best settings for yourself.

seta m_pitch "0.016" <- Means the up, down movement speed in your crosshair.
seta m_yaw "0.022" <- Means the left, right movement speed in your crosshair.
seta m_filter "0" <- I dont know. Didnt really do any difference. ( If someone know tell me )
seta cl_freelook "1" If 0 It means you can lock your crosshair in same position at up, down movement.
seta cl_mouseAccel "0" <- More accurate when used on long range
seta sensitivity "1" Changes mouse sensitivity ( How fast crosshair moves every direction )
seta cg_drawgun "0" <- Means what speed your gun changes. If 0 you dont even see ur gun.
seta cg_crosshairHealth "0" <- Has to be 0 , or colors won't show.
seta cg_drawCrosshair "5" <- Means what kinda crosshair you have. Like 1 is original and 5 is dot.
seta cg_crosshairSize "38" <- It means your crosshair size.
seta cg_crosshairAlpha "1.0" <- Makes 1st other color a bit more transparent.
seta cg_crosshairAlphaAlt "0.5" <- Makes 2nd color bit more transparent.
seta cg_crosshairColor "cyan" <- Other color in your crosshair
seta cg_crosshairColorAlt "cyan" <- And the other color in your crosshair


Here is how to make lower ping. ( These are also in somewhere else but i still added 'em in here too)

You all know what these do. ( At least you should. lol )

/rate 25000, /rate 41000 and /rate 75000 <- Choose best for you ( Also By server )
/cl_maxpackets 100 <- Also you can change it to what is best for you
/cl_timenudge -50 <- I dont really recommend that, you cannot be hit so well with that , so best is 0
/snaps 20 ,30, 40 <- Choose your own
/pb_sleep 500

that file ready by that program you save file in "etmain". After that

Well some of these are good of some players and to others not, mouseaccel 0 ain't good if u haven't made a script out of it. M_pitch that i use is 0.018. Personally would go for 95 fov too, its hard to shoot in higher than 100 fov. Hmm, gamma 2? more like 2.6. Well anyways, it depends.

Not my cfg cuz I dont use cfg. I have only most of them, but whitout the cfg.

up with having to put most of them up.

You could also give them a link where they can download a CFG, and you could configure it for them, make a link at rapidshare leave them download and tell them how to exec this..

I'm not excactly sure what you meant cuz I'm not so good in english.
