"Jesus" - Not taking the name in vain

So as OM wanted here's a topic to debate about Jesus.


My first statement is "Jesus is mena to be a man like ourselves BUT he wasn't" why because they last time i tried walking i FAILED and also because i cant turn water into wine.

So why do they say Jesus was like us?

physiologically and biologically are the same thing - and he's meant to be the same as us. but obviously he isn't.


spiritually - he should be the same, as he's mortal yet people consider him a god.

i think jesus was like hercules!?

he was sent to earth from god his father..
to be near the ppl..who believe in him..
he was the god on earth..
and also he helped to ppl a lot with his
miracles..!

so he had to sides of personality..
on one side..he was a prohet...the messias..
the son of god..
and on the other side..he was like the
other normal ppl..born from maria..a
simply woman which was married with
josef..!

however hercules performed difficult labours, including stealing stuff and killing stuff, and which at points hercules also killed people. now Jesus says love your neighbour as yourself. which goes against killing, and stealing

i think jesus want the same as we are..
cause nobody really nobody can live without to make mistakes..
he could so..

jesus is really a big phanomen..
cause i think there are very less historical evidence
of his existence..

ppl just believe in him..maybe because
they prayed to him to get help in a bad situation..or
because there parents and grand parents believed in him..!

The ironic question that always held me is, why was he crusified if he was without sins. You can shout it twentythousand times, he was sinless, but why did the Romans kill him then? Because he was (seen as) a threat against Roman society? But if he was almighty, sinless, how didn't he convince the Romans then to live with him in peace?

well if you believe what the Bible says (and i do ), He did it to take our sin and pay the price for our sins, which is death

actually, hercules was the son of zeus and some woman on earth that zeus slept with. he screwed lots of women according to greek mythology. hercules also stole and killed and screwed lots of people.
mythology isnt as clean as originally percieved

and historians agree that Jesus did exist, they just debate his divinity



@rubber Jesus came to earth TO take all our sins on himself and to redeem humanity. because Jesus died for our sins we can go to heaven.

He should do it again,then,the same form,I'd believe all this was true
if he did it again,because now there is many more sinners.

But if Jesus came down "stealing" our sins. Why do we still have them? What was the use of him being around us if it just stayed that way?

however more sin in the world is said will happen when the end of times will near. says "as in the days of Noah" and there was a lot of sin then. Jesus doesnt need to do it again because he already did. since he's done it we can pray for forgiveness and for God to forgive us of our sins. if Jesus has already done this, then there is no point in him coming back simply to do this again.

thats why next time he comes its gonna be like in revelation.
