Punkbuster Problems ?? Solve it now !

ive been looking troughout the hole forums and subforums and i saw that alot of players have problems with their punkbuster.
i also had this problems alot when i just started playing et and i got kicked from every server for -Update youre Punkbuster_
or -Losing Key Packets- and others.
well this is how to solve the problem.

Losing key packets means that youre losing youre maxpackets,
if you want to solve this problem u just need to type this in console.
/CL_MAXPACKETS 100
cause punkbuster server doesnt allow lower maxpackets then this thats why the program kicks u.

HOW TO UPDATE YOURE PUNKBUSTER ?
well this is how u update youre punkbuster.
this will solve the most problems of you getting kicked from any PB related servers.
download PB_SETUP.exe from the following link. Download

after that u just open the file and select the game you want to update youre PB too.

if you have done this u need to w8 a few seconds and then open youre enemy territory game.

and Then enjoy you're stay on PB related servers =)

Save it to your desktop. You will need to start it with Admin rights.


On Windows Vista just being logged in as Admin is not enough. To
start the file with Admin rights on Vista, select the PBSVC executable
and right click it. Select "Properties", then the "Compatibility" tab.
From that tab, check the box labeled "Run this program as an
Administrator" and click OK.


Follow the install process and make sure it installs correctly.
After that you will be able to play the game without the need of Admin
rights. You only need to follow these steps only once (not for every PB
supported game and not on each game start).


Please make sure you allow the service files in security software
like virus scanners and/or firewalls. You will need to allow/unblock
the services PnkBstrA.exe and PnkBstrB.exe from your
"C:\Windows\system32\" (or "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\" on 64bit systems)
folder. In case of doubt, manually add both to your firewall's allow
list. After the installation process you will only find PnkBstrA, so
just make sure this process file is not blocked. Then try playing on a
PB enabled server, in case of a kick, check if PnkBstrB was created and
unblock it too.

Can someone make a guide to solve Ignoring Queries problem, cuz it always kick me and doens' allow me to connect for 2-4 minutes.

Pb kick me on the server... next when I reconnect there is two me; the same nick... don't get it;/

damian if there is hacker online they can use the cheat to use same nick so the original one get kicked and thats u
the other one stays in play so that was just a hacker on the server of PB.
hacks can be used on PB servers if they are installed antiban onto the bot ==)

and yuji ill make a tutorial about the queries problem ==)
